G Shocks aren't horribly accurate. They can get to be about 15 seconds off in a month on the far end. After a couple days of me syncing all three of mine up to atomic, they all will be off. My 736C is usually the most accurate, but will generally be a second off not that long after the other two. It's normal.

Oct 31, 2021 · As mentioned, don't worry too much about the ERR message, it literally just means you haven't had a strong enough signal for it to sync. To be honest I don't know why Casio built in 3 levels of receiving signal either because in my time with various atomic Casio's, they have only sync'd on a L3 signal and fail on L1 or 2!
Try an app called Clock Wave. You can sync your watch using the phone. It emits a radio wave that your watch will pick up an sync with. It works Like a mini atomic clock tower. ZaZoram. You need to set the Barometric pressure info to on. Had the same problem but this fixed it.
Hello everyone! So i just got my first g shock (5610) four days ago. When I originally tried to manually sync the atomic time it searched for the signal for a few seconds then would display an ERR message in upper right. I figured because I was inside and it was during the day the signal wasn’t reaching me (Buffalo, NY).

Casio Watch allows for DST and selection of Time Zones.. If your watch is display "Wrong Time" in other zones. The Basis of which the time is set, is off. Ie time (in your current selection of location) is not what it Geographically correct.
